We successfully closed our seed round
We are incredibly excited to announce that we have just closed a successful seed round of 250,000€. We are now much closer towards our dream of world domination and our path is clear. The next steps are to reinforce our product with new upgrades, to build a strong and impervious online sales channel, and to grow our army with elite sales warriors.
Thus far, we have managed to build our company off of direct sales, however, as we are getting more installations from America and Asia, we feel that we need to beef up our online presence. Everyday, approximately 5 new companies install Liid for CRM. We want to double…no….quadruple this amount. The plan for reaching this goal is to start marketing Liid seriously and vigorously. I want our marketing plan to look like a combination of Dom Mazetti and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Game of Thrones). What is that you ask? A beast. Furthermore, we desperately need to make online purchases possible, so we can make our lives and our customers lives much easier.
We also get a lot of inquiries about CRMs which we do not support yet. Liid can actually support any cloud-based CRM and we are happy to tell all of you who are using Pipedrive, Sugar CRM and SuperOffice, that we will be supporting some of those CRMs in the upcoming months.
Seeking outside funding was very time-consuming but that’s done now. We can finally get back to what we do best – creating a world-class kick-ass service that helps salespeople track what they do, who they talk to and what they have yet to do to close that next business deal.
We would like to thank everyone who has helped us get to where we are now. A special thank you to Startup Sauna for their coaching, direction and advice which proved to be very valuable to us. Also a big thank you to Fiban for letting us pitch at their event, which was where we managed to close the last missing 70k of our investment round. Last but not least, we want to thank Riku Asikainen, who has been our lead investor and Pontus Stråhlman for helping us out with the seed round.
